Course Objectives:

Learn to create informative and educational infographics design for your social media accounts, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and more!

A practical workshop on how you can create Social Media Infographics with Microsoft PowerPoint or Mac's Keynote.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to create their very own Social Media & Email Marketing infographics, applying key Visual Content Marketing theory and techniques for better marketing communications on their different social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and their email blasts!

Each participant will have 1 to 1 consultation time with our Trainer, and create at least 1 to 2 of your very own Social Media Infographics by the end of our workshop.

Target Audience: Social Media Managers, Event Managers, Corporate Communications, Human Resource, Marketing Executives.

Detailed Course Content & Outline:

1. Design Theory:

• Theory on Visual Content Marketing (aka infographics)
• Learn about positive annotation in visual graphics and how we can use it to our advantage on Social Media graphics we create during the class.
• Case Study on Good & Bad Graphics and Infographics (Class Discussion)

2. Design Resources

• Learn about colour palettes, and colour resources, how to use RGB and hexagon colour codes in PowerPoint when designing.
• Introduce Commercial FREE High-resolution Image Resources.
• Introduce Infographic Resources, how to change the colours, and use colours that compliment your company branding or emotions you would like to evoke in your design.

3. Hands-on activity, Social Media Infographic, 1080px by 1080px:

• Create a Social Media Infographic (1080px by 1080px) : Microsoft PowerPoint (Version 2013 and above is recommended, some features are not available in older versions.
• Trainer Demonstration on the creation of a Social Media Infographic in PowerPoint (20 min)
• Participants Hands-on to create 1 Social Media Infographic in 90 min, applying the colour, design, icon (infographic) and image resources shared into design.

4. Design Email Marketing Infographics with recommended dimensions of 600px width and 2000px height.
a) 7 Step Process in Designing for Vertical Email Infographics

5. Final Q&A and Consultation Time with Trainer * Note: The 1-day Infographics Design for Social Media & Email Marketing Course is an advanced course (For individuals savvy with PowerPoint application), where we design 2 types of infographics deliverables in 1-day.

* For corporate runs, we sometimes may suggestions for clients to consider the class to be conducted over 2 days, so it will not be too rushed.

Why split the course into 2 days instead of 1-day course?

2-day course will be more applicable for learners new to Microsoft PowerPoint. This will give learners more confidence as more time is allocated for hands-on practice.

Corporate Training:

Training will be held via Zoom or Google Hangouts during Circuit Breaker.

Training can be held at our office or client's office after the Circuit Breaker or conducted via Zoom.
Note: Due to Covid-19, Min. class size for Private/Corporate runs is now 6 pax to start, and with 8 pax, 10% discount is extended to the client.

Charmaine is the Creative Director of Sky Digital Agency and The Good Designers

Being a web designer by training, she designs, consults and trains individuals in design, seo, digital marketing, digital strategy, and creative topics like Infographics.

She started training and equipping her clients in Facebook Marketing, SEO Marketing, Email Marketing, Infographics and Web Design topics since 2015. Till date, she has conducted more than 1,500 hours of training, and she is an ACTA Certified Trainer.

Charmaine is passionate about training, and helping others through training. She makes learning interactive, practical and fun. She enjoys breaking down complex topics to help participants gain better understanding and find success in the digital marketing campaigns with FREE digital tools available in the market for Entrepreneurs, Trainers, Business Owners, and SMEs to leverage on.

FAQs

1. Who can i contact should i have questions?

2. Is there a minimum class size to proceed?
Yes. We require a minimum class size of 4 people to proceed with the public run scheduled class.
In the event that there is insufficient participants, The Good Designers reserves the right to reschedule the class. Under such circumstances, we will inform you no later than 3~5 days before the event.

3. What are the hardware or software requirements?
Please bring along a Windows or Macintosh laptop with Microsoft PowerPoint version 2013 installed.
Keynote (for Mac) is possible also, but there are a few options with shapes that are not as dynamic compared to Microsoft PowerPoint.
For face to face training, FREE WiFi provided at our training venue. Internet Access is required during the class, due to online resources that will be shared. If your computer is unable to access internet, please inform us 5~7 working days in advance so we can prepare the offline resources for you prior to the workshop.

5. I'm driving, where can I park?
There is parking space at the building 6 Raffles Quay itself at $2.50 per 30 min block.
For weekend classes, we recommend our participants to park at SGX Centre, at $3 per entry.

6. No show policy for public run course.
10 days notice prior to course run, no charge (if class is not full and we did not turn away participants), 5 days notice to course run, $80 admin fee to change date if class has been confirmed and does not have sufficient participants after your postponement. Actual day no show, 100% full course fee penalty.

Corporate Run: No show policy 2 days notice prior to course run, course credits will be given to client for colleagues to join us in any of our public runs that are available in the next 3 months.

We will recommend for clients to send replacement for "No Show" colleagues even on actual day to avoid penalties.

For actual day no show policy, only 50% of course fee credits will be given. However, if an additional trainer has been engaged to assist in the class, no course fee credits will be given to acutal day no show colleagues that did not provide notice.
